Trail Reports
Our Christmas wish for snow was granted!
The dumping of snow came at a perfect time. We could have done without the ice and wind though. Not much happened on Monday due to conditions. Today machines were out on their normally scheduled routes. The local trails into DeTour, Cedarville, and Hessel were groomed. Big news, we were able to send a Pisten Bully north on Trail 49. It is not groomed, but it is passable. We will give it a couple of days to freeze in some more. Plan is to run the groomer through our part of 49 on Friday. The main sections or Trail 47 east and west out of Cedarville should be done tomorrow. Trail 491 from near DeTour to Trail 49 should also be done tomorrow.
Please ride with caution. There's still a lot of little stuff to clean up after this latest ice we had.
Merry Christmas!
After what looked like a great start to the season, we are back to waiting for snow. The warm ground melted down a lot of the snow, then the warm up and rain did more of it in. We have been through the majority of our trails, but they are now thin.
We are watching the possibility of some snow tonight through tomorrow.
