Statewide Trail System, Grooming, & Safety

Every January LCSC offers a snowmobile safety and educational class for young snowmobilers who are between the ages of 12 and 16. The class is taught by certified instructors, and successful participants receive a DNR snowmobile safety certificate. There is no charge to attend, and parents are also invited. Class size is limited and pre-registration is required. For more information on our safety class see our Les Cheneaux Snowmobile Club Facebook page.  In addition, the DNR does offer both classroom and on-line Snowmobile safety classes through the DNR Snowmobile website.

While LCSC does not offer an ORV safety training class for young riders, the DNR website has information for both classroom and on-line youth training.
